Elie Karam is a Senior Associate at SAAS Lawyers | Avocats, managing the Litigation Department. He leads complex civil and commercial disputes while advising insurance clients and corporate companies across Lebanon, the GCC and international markets. Prior to joining SAAS, he was a founding member of Karam Law Firm, where he advised clients on corporate law, inheritance, family wealth management, real estate and cross-border transactions (including Europe, Turkey, Africa, and the Middle East). He also provides counsel to startups, SMEs, social enterprises, and NGOs, particularly in matters related to public-private partnerships, public procurement, licensing, and franchising. Elie has expertise in AI and technology law and regularly contributes to training programs on sustainability, governance, and comparative law. He combines academic insight with practical application and is actively involved in civil society, founding and leading associations focused on sustainable development and moderating discussions on human rights and public policy.
